Just around this time three years ago, I saw this performance of arranging flowers. The teacher who taught my daughter a little flower arrangements gave us an invitation to the show. 

I was overwhelmed by its big scale as I had expected I would see a normal flower arrangement. It was my first time to see the way of arranging flowers.

I thought it was a first-class skill. Which has contributed to the man’s “today”, talent or endeavor? His skill of arranging the beautiful flowers made me emotionally excited.

I wish I could be like him.

The flowers are cherry trees. A little later, red rhododendrons and yellow flowers were arranged just this side of them.

ちょうど３年前の２００８年４月２８日に見たステージ上での見事なお花の講習会です。

娘が少しだけお花を教えて頂いた先生から案内を頂き、見に行ったものです。

私は、普通にお花を生けるところを見るんだと思ってたので、このスケールの大きさに圧倒されました。こんな花の活け方を見るのは初めてでした。

一流の技を見る思いでした。

才能、努力どちらがこの方の「今」に貢献しているのだろうとその時思っていました。鮮やかに作品を仕上げられていく姿に自分の気持ちもたかぶったのを覚えています。

自分も、こんな風になれたらなと。

お花は、薄いピンクのしだれ桜です。このあと赤のしゃくなげ、黄色の花が手前に活けられました。
